Thermally insulated systems

Thermal breaks, multi-chamber profiles and next-generation fillers — passive-house-level thermal comfort.

  • Energy-efficient homes
  • Passive-house construction
  • Thermal retrofits
  • Certified buildings

Thermal insulation in aluminium systems relies on a polymer break (glass-fibre-reinforced polyamide) that separates the outer and inner profile, interrupting the thermal bridge.

How the thermal break works

Aluminium conducts heat extremely well — without a break the profile would be cold. Polyamide strips inside the profile form a low-conductivity barrier, and the spaces between them are filled with insulating materials (foams, aerogel).

Variants and parameters

The wider the break and the more chambers, the lower the U-value. Premium systems reach Uf from 0.5 W/m²K, suitable for passive houses and buildings with elevated thermal-performance requirements.

System benefits

  • 01Lower bills — a real reduction in heat loss through the envelope
  • 02No condensation — a warm profile surface on the interior side
  • 03Regulatory compliance — meets current thermal-performance and NF-standard requirements
  • 04Acoustic comfort — the same profiles improve sound insulation
